Low Noise Antenna Amplifier/s (LNA) is/are used to enhance the sensitivity of radio receivers, modems or TV sets. They do so by lowering the overall Noise Figure of the receiving system. LNAs are also used to overcome the loss of a long cable. To accomplish this, the Low Noise Amplifier is connected directly to the antenna, before the long cable. When used for this purpose, the LNA is often called an Antenna Amplifier, as its primary objective is to overcome downstream transmission line losses.
All of our antenna amplifiers accept their power from the same coaxial cable delivering the signals. Alternatively, power may be applied directly to the amplifier. Some of our LNAs are intelligent and/or include an internal switch, so they can support bidirectional signal flow (Transmit & Receive).
All Low Noise Antenna Amplifier products in this catalog are designed and manufactured at our facility. We can customize or provide LNAs with specific requirements outside the offerings shown below. Call us at 954-345-5000 for your custom applications and requirements.
