Accessory: UHF Ground Plane, for use as a counterpoise/shield at frequencies above 500 MHz. To exploit the ACC-5001 as a reflector, it is best to use it above 800 MHz; however, it may be utilized as such down to 600 MHz with a reduced Front-to-Back ratio.
Operation of the ACC-5001 as a counterpoise (groundplane) below 500 MHz will generally result in a downtilt of the antenna's pattern mounted on it. Said downtilt is gradual and a function of how far below the recommended 500 MHz operation occurs
