UL-3100-319 MUOS Uplink Mobile Antenna, Description

MUOS Uplink Mobile Antenna, model UL-3100-319, is a low profile, NMO mounted antenna. It is tuned to operate within the UHF Uplink (transmit) spectrum of MUOS Satellites. A companion model, UL-3700-319 covers the downlink spectrum to enable full two-way MUOS communications utilizing small form factor antennas. Popular field radios, such as the AN/PRC-117G has 2 separate connectors, one for uplink and one for downlink. If the UL-3x00-319 antennas are mounted one on each side of the vehicle, allowing for sufficient isolation between antennas, a diplexer may not be required for normal operation.

This mobile antenna covers the full UHF WCDMA/DAMA/IW, new and legacy Uplink spectra of 300-320 MHz, and features ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) isolation through a DC shunt. With modest dimensions of 1.5"/4 cm (OD) x 4"/10 cm (height), this antenna radiates with a typical peak omnidirectional gain of +2 dBil, when mounted on a large metal surface of at least 16"/40 cm radius.

When used in conjunction with mounting ring accessory ACC-0019 the UL-3100-319 may be secured to drones or slow flying platforms and shallow underwater vehicles (seal seams of ACC-0019 ring - call for assistance).
